As a couple others of my guild have mentioned, we had a pretty great weekend. Boss nerfs and Class buffs non-withstanding. We moved into SSC and cleared all but Vazsh (sp?). We wiped out Gruul and Mags. We even went back and took out AQ20 with about 12 people. And, to top it off, on Sunday night we blasted through Z’A, got 3 chests and wiped the instance clear!
Yeah yeah.. They nerfed the bosses, we know. But I still think it is a pretty nice achievement. I know I am proud of it. Tonight we’re heading into TK and I’m hoping to bring along Fimlys this time to try out his new MM spec. If it works pretty well, maybe I’ll post it.. Then again, maybe not..

Sorry, I haven’t been blogging as much as usual. But, anyway. With all the new Patch stuff, I’m sure you have been too busy anyway. So, I think I finally got things back to some semblance of normal. At least for Fimlys, Fyra and Fhuun. They all have their UI’s back with all the buttons at least close to where they were. I have to say, I am enjoying the bump in damage I am seeing on my Druid and Priest.
When I specced the Priest, I still did a holy/disc hybrid, but I took a few more talents on the way down holy that increase damage dealt by holy attacks. So far, I am pretty happy with it. I haven’t done any healing on instances, etc. but I’m liking it. I also have been playing with the new Druid Balance tree and like what I’ve got so far.
I got a couple peeps together to go kill the big Gronn dude above the Aldor Rise. We wiped a few times (we had no tank, I was tanking it) but I did like my dps modifications I think. We’ll just have to see how it works out. I tried to spec them all how I want them for WotLK so I didn’t have to re-do it.
Oh! And I dropped mining on my mage, Fizz (it was only at 122 or somesuch) and now have inscription up to above 355! My stockpile of herbs proved to be almost enough to get me to 350. I only had to buy a few on the way up where the procs just didn’t give me enough. I think I actually had the herbs, but since my addons lost the ability to tell me what I had on other toons, I just ended up buying them.. Ah well..  Inscription is definitely interesting. I need to play with the “enchant a scroll” thing.. Wonder how much what enchants are selling for…
Anyway, no plans for tonight so far. It’s been a quiet week for me. I’ll probably get back on the bandwagon on Saturday maybe.. Talk to you later..
Ooop.. I didn’t post yesterday. Sorry about that… So.. Today is The Day! Wow.. It’s come on fast, eh? Well, I’m ready.. I think.. I have the 3 parts of the patch that we could get prior to today and if there is more, well, I’ll just have to download that too.. So, what’s been going on other than awaiting patch day? Well….
On Friday we were successful in picking up two of the timed chests from Z’A but then missed the 3rd. I was invited to a “pug” Mag attempt that went pretty well after a couple of false starts and at least 1 wipe (the brain, it is cheese of the swiss type). But we did get Mags down which was the first time I have been part of a group that did so. That was pretty exciting to me. I missed on the roll for my chest token, but I think the IoQD badge one is better anyway. My priest already has 4/5 T4, so the 5th wouldn’t really buy him anything.
On Friday we also recorded Episode 20 of the Twisted Nether Blogcast. This episode was our second Round Table where we had:

 It was really fun having everyone on the show and I hope you all enjoy listening to it as much as we did making it. Sorry about the little portion that is hard to understand. That was the best recording I had for that part.. 
Other than that, I’ve spent the time taking screenshots of my UIs (for reconstruction after the patch), selling off stuff I don’t think I’ll need, and leveling some professions a little more. Today, obviously, will be spent fixing UIs and getting my specs in order. I think there is a plan to go try to get the “Jenkins” title also.. Later all!
