You Killed Kenny!

Ah.. Kara night.. Well, not for me. I hear that Mythos downed 5 bosses in 1 blow! Well, each one with 1 try.

Grats Guys!

Kenny Instead, I decided to go get a new pet a Ripfang Lynx . Dunno why I wanted it. I named him Kenny.. I then wandered over to the Forge Bases in the north of the instance and started killing stuff. I was around 1800 rep short of Exalted at the time. I got Kenny to the 2nd level of loyalty and picked up over 40 Marks of Sargeras and 3! 3!!!!! Fel Armaments. That, obviously got me over the 1800 rep I needed and I got Exalted for Aldor! Very exciting.. Well, the main benefit was the new shoulder enchant from the Inscriber. The new one adds more AP and some additional Crit.

So, that is what I did. Kenny still has to get to level 70 ( over 1/2 way there ) and up to the full loyalty level. I’ll probably give him dash, claw, growl (of course), avoidance, cobra reflexes and at least extra stamina.

That’s about all I did. Slow night Dunno where tonight will lead. I may just play Bioshock

No Patch for U

Well, It seems that we aren’t getting 2.2 today. At least as far as I can tell. The realms are up and no patch installation or download. Of course, I could be wrong.. It has happened.. That one time..

I think there have been a few changes to the 2.2 PTR so maybe that is why it is still not here. If they are making changes this late to 2.2, then I would assume they have to wait another week (at least). I would be happy if it came out next Tuesday. That would be nice. I’d be happy even if they decided to drop it in sometime during the rest of the week. I’m not picky.

Not that there is anything significant in the changes that I am looking forward to. The change to Aspect of the Viper looks interesting (not sure it is a buff or nerf at this point). It should definitely help out on longer boss fights where mana is an issue. General grinding might not be as effected (nor the change appreciated).

Stinkin’ Badges

I need 1 more. I need one more of the Badges to get the trinket I want. Bloodlust Brooch woot!

We ran Heroic Mech last night. It is definitely the easiest way to get 4 badges. Why just 4 when the 2 mini-bosses and all 3 main-bosses drop badges? Well, we skip the 2nd boss. She isn’t worth the effort basically. We one shotted the final boss (actually I think we did worse on the mini-bosses than the real bosses). We know mech pretty well and we know most of the good strategies. One of the most fun boss battle (non-raid) is the First boss in mech in heroic. In heroic, he does a “Polarity Shift” that gives everyone in the group a + or – polarity. If you are near someone with the same sign, you get a BIG boost in damage. If you are near someone with the opposite sign, you get damaged quickly. You end up running back and forth to designated areas to bunch up with someone else with your sign. It is actually a lot of fun and for a DPS class, the added bonus is Pure Sugar..

Nothing much dropped for me. The last boss in heroic mech drops Handguards of the Steady which I would like to try out. I think the gloves I have already are pretty good and might be a bit better (possibly), but doesn’t hurt to have another pair for a few different stats.

I might suggest we do a quick heroic run (maybe to Shadow Labyrinth) to pick up my last Badge (and maybe get Exalted in LC at the same time). The run to the first boss in SL isn’t too bad. Everything after is a pain.. (Especially those big groups before the second boss).

After that maybe I’ll play Bioshock some more. I played WoW until around 12:30 am and then was on Bioshock until 3am !! I just couldn’t tear myself away. I’m pretty certain now that when I finish it I will probably go back in at the middle difficulty. This first time I wanted to experience the story first without too much of my lack of skill getting in the way. I have to say I am enjoying it immensely.
