Hey! How’s it going? I can’t say that I haven’t been posting because I can’t find anything to talk about. I can ALWAYS find SOMETHING to talk about.. Just ask Hydra.. It’s really more of a “finding time” thing. With the two podcasts and work and family (Little League Season is started again) and actually playing WoW among other games, I just don’t have all that much time to regale you all with my witticisms. I spend a lot of time talking about WoW and other games on the podcasts too, so I guess I don’t have a lot of extra stuff to fill in here.
With that said, I’m still having a good time with WoW. My playtime has dropped mainly because of other games I’d like to make time to play. I have been only really logging in on raiding nights and other times to farm for mats for Flasks. It’s not that I’m not having fun when I am playing, because I am. It’s not that I don’t want to play, because I do. I’m still enjoying Cataclysm. I still have a lot to do like level a few more toons up to 85, play my Worgen (who just got out of the starting area..) and get started on my Goblin with Daewin (if we’re still planning on doing that).
Right now I’m deep in the throws of Dragon Age 2 addiction. I’m playing a mage on this first run-through and trying to do all the side quests I can find. Being able to heal is a lot less necessary this time around than in Dragon Age: Origins and the combat is much more “actiony” (I know that isn’t a word). You can still pause the combat and I do so during the boss fights. The other thing to realize is that for this first play I decided to do it on easy-peasy mode. When I go back and play again, if I do, I’ll go to normal mode and I’m sure I will be pausing the combat to do more manual assigning of targets and such. I’m really enjoying the game and personally think they did a great job with it. I’ll have to see how the reply value is as opposed to DA: O.
Oh, and before I go, I just want to say that I am very happy. I finally got my Staff from Halfus! Woot!
