What’s been going on? Well, it’s a new year! (Happy New Year to everyone!) Oh, you wanted to know about what has been going on in WoW? Well, let me tell you.
As you know, I have been leveling my Druid, Fyra. I had decided to skip Uldum in favor of going straight to Twilight Highlands at 84 to get my final 9+ million XP.. One thing she had going for her was full rested XP throughout the leveling from 80. That allowed me to start with Hyjal, move to Deepholm and then finish up in Highlands. So, Sunday morning, just before logging out to have lunch, she dinged 85. She is my second toon to 85 so far. She didn’t do a single instance during that time and could really use some gear, of course. I finally started getting some good upgrades from the ICC gear I had on during the time in Twilight Highlands. I have to say that fighting mobs is much easier with the hunter since I don’t personally get attacked most of the time. On Fyra, they well all up in my grill (I really have no idea what that means, but my son said I should write that).
Additionally, Thursday we headed back into Blackwing Descent to take on the Omnitron Defense System. We didn’t get it down, but we did get it to around 38%, which was pretty good. I think on Tuesday, we’re headed back there and hopefully we can get it “all” the way down.
I have to make a decision as to the next toon to level. I’m thinking it will probably be the priest, Fhuun, but really not sure. I also have mage, paladin and rogue that are 80. I’m still not so excited about leveling the rogue and I think it would be cool to really learn how to tank with the Paladin finally (maybe). Decisions, decisions. I’ve also been working on the professions. Well, all except for blacksmithing really. Engineering is lots of fun and I made some nice money selling the bunny pet you can make with it.
That’s about it. I’m happy to have another 85, but now it means I need to get her geared!
