Ooh, She so Hordie

So yeah, I don’t know if I told you already, but I transferred my little Gnome Warlock to the dark side! “Wait.. She was already a Warlock. How much darker can she get?”, I hear you saying (go ahead and say it.. I’ll wait right here).. Yeah.. I’m talking about the Horde! When picking which race to make her upon transfer, there really was no choice at all. Undead, of course! So, now I have an Undead Warlock (still named Fellmara). What next? Move her to Cenarion Circle and join us with Stop and cohorts over in <Builders League United> (BLU).

She was level 72 when I transferred her. She is currently level 74. Why? Is it easier to level horde than alliance? No.. Do I get a buff for being in Stop’s awesome guild? No.. (not yet). It’s because I am only doing the quests that are Horde specific! I leveled up really fast the first couple of times I leveled up as Alliance too.. But I’ve done that at least 5 times now ( and a few quests I’ve done 7 times!) and I’m getting a little bored of it. The quests I can find (I’m in Dragonblight now) that are different are actually more interesting but only because of that newness.

So, I did some of the quests in Borean Tundra first and then moved on to Dragonblight. During that time the phase 1 of the Cataclysm pre-quests came out and I went and did those which also netted me a good amount of XP very easily. So, basically that’s what’s been going on. I’ve still got a ton of rested XP on her and so I’ll keep playing her when I can to level her up.

WoWScrnShot_103010_161007On the raiding side of things, my Hunter picked up Deathbringer’s Will finally in our 25man ICC run. It’s so much fun getting transformed randomly into different humanoid forms. But anyway, We did pretty well and got all the way to Sindragosa (everything else clear) and wiped on her a couple of times before calling it a night.

That’s about it for me today. Only about 4 more weeks until Cataclysm! Are you excited? Did you say how you were getting your copy in the poll on the right (go to http://aatwow.fimlys.com if you are on an RSS reader)? What are you most looking forward to?
